NEET 2022 Exam Pattern: Latest Updates

A few years back, the pre-medical test conducted for admissions to MBBS and BDS courses was AIPMT. But now, all medical and dental colleges that the Medical Council approves of India are eligible to admit students in the above courses through the NEET Score. We have curated a list of things you need to know about NEET, from the NEET Exam pattern to the important dates, eligibility, and more.

Important Points to Consider

·    Candidates opting for English would be provided NEET 2022 test booklet in English only.

·    Students opting for Hindi would be provided with a Bilingual Test Booklet in English and Hindi.

·    All candidates opting for regional languages would also be provided with a Bilingual Test Booklet in their selected regional language and English.

·    In case of any ambiguity in the translation of any questions, the English version of the NEET question paper is treated as final.

·    Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer, and one mark will be deducted for each wrong attempt.

·    If any candidate will leave the question unattempted, there is no negative marking for that as per the NEET Exam pattern.

·    Once aspirants mark their answers in the NEET 2022 OMR sheet, it is not possible to change it.

·    Candidates are advised not to attempt multiple answers during the NEET exam as it will cost a negative marking.

Instructions for filling the OMR Sheet

·    As per the NTA guidelines, all NEET answers have to be marked using a ballpoint pen

·    The authorities will provide the ballpoint pen inside the exam hall of NEET 2022

·    The candidate has to mark the on the NEET OMR sheet, as failing to do this will lead the candidates to problems

·    All the required rough work should be done in the space provided in the test booklet

·    As per the NEET 2022 paper pattern, once the answer is marked in the OMR sheet, it can't be erased
